Become the AI professional who can design, deploy and govern secure AI systems inside real organisations.
This hands-on online training teaches you how to build production-ready AI solutions using local Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), multi-agent workflows and hybrid AI architectures — fully aligned with GDPR and the EU AI Act. You will not build toy demos. You will build a realistic enterprise AI project step by step throughout the course. Based on a complete end-to-end onboarding automation scenario (“WelcomeFlow”), you learn how modern AI systems are actually designed inside SMEs and enterprise environments today.

The course focuses on practical application instead of theory overload.
This is a fully online, instructor-led training. The first and final lesson take place physically on campus in Antwerp. The campus is easily accessible by public transport and is located right next to Antwerpen-Berchem railway station.
During your training, you are free to use AI tools as support for learning and practice. We believe it is important that you learn how to work with AI in the same way it is used in the professional field, especially within IT-related programmes where it has become an essential part of the workflow.

The course itself is taught in English. However, administrative communication such as emails, official letters and certificates will be provided in Dutch. Our online classes are delivered as live sessions only — no recordings are made, including in cases of absence or illness. This is a deliberate choice, as active participation and interaction are essential for properly understanding and applying the course material. Attendance during lessons is therefore important and has a direct impact on both your learning progress and your final project.

Deze opleiding volg je live online
Deze opleiding verloopt volledig online. Je volgt de lessen van thuis, op kantoor of vanop een andere rustige plek. Je hoeft je dus niet te verplaatsen, maar neemt wel live deel op vaste lesmomenten. Je zit samen met je docent en medecursisten in een digitale klas. Je kan vragen stellen, meewerken aan opdrachten, ervaringen uitwisselen en meteen feedback krijgen. Zo combineer je het gemak van online leren met de structuur, begeleiding en interactie van een echte klasgroep.
We kiezen bewust voor live online lessen, omdat je de leerstof het best verwerkt door actief mee te doen. Daarom worden de lessen niet opgenomen, ook niet bij afwezigheid of ziekte. Zo blijft de les een interactieve leerervaring, met ruimte voor vragen, gesprek en toepassing. Tijdens de les neem je actief deel, net zoals je dat in een fysieke klas zou doen. Je volgt mee, gebruikt de chat, stelt vragen en werkt mee aan opdrachten of gesprekken. We vragen om je camera aan te zetten. Dat maakt de les persoonlijker en helpt om de betrokkenheid in de groep te versterken.
Ben je nog niet zo vertrouwd met online les volgen? Geen probleem. Voor de start ontvang je duidelijke praktische informatie over het online platform, je login en de eerste les. Loop je ergens tegenaan, dan helpen we je op weg zodat je met een gerust gevoel aan de opleiding kan beginnen.
Je bent bachelor, master of graduaat in Python programmeren of Data Scientist. Of je bezit een Syntragetuigschrift voor Python Developer, Data Scientist of Python Data Developer.

Je hebt minimum 3 jaar ervaring in een relevant beroep (data engineering, data science, Python programmeren). Indien aantoonbaar, volgt er een gesprek met de docent die zal checken of je over de juiste basisvaardigheden beschikt.
